Amid Criticism, Swara Bhasker Lauds Mumbai Police: ‘As An Outsider, Just Want To Say That Mumbai Is One Of The Safest Cities To Work In’
Swara Bhasker, who had earlier come out in defense of Mumbai Police in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe, has now hailed the Mumbai Police and thanked them for their relentless efforts to keep the city safe
Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has hailed the Mumbai Police and has thanked them for keeping the city safe. Swara, who has been residing in Mumbai for the past decade, has lauded the Mumbai Police’s efforts and called Mumbai one of the safest cities to live and work in. Swara had also earlier defended Mumbai Police, that was handling Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and had stated that it was unfair to call them unprofessional.
Now, once again, Swara Bhasker hailed Mumbai Police, as she thanked them in a tweet. She wrote, “As an outsider, an independent working woman & resident of #Mumbai for the past decade. Just want to say that Bombay is one of easiest & safest cities to live & work in. Thank you @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice for your relentless efforts & service to keep #AamchiMumbai safe.” A few days ago, Swara had responded to criticism against Mumbai Police and said that there is no reason to doubt their conduct and that it’s unfair to suggest that the Mumbai Police were not doing a good job.
“I don’t think it is fair to suggest that the Mumbai Police were not doing a good job or were not being professional. I think that there is a problem right there that we did not trust the Mumbai Police, we should have. We have no reason to doubt their conduct. I hope the CBI will now be allowed to do their job in a fair and impartial manner,” said Swara.

Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker had also slammed social media trials against Rhea Chakraborty, and said that Rhea was being subject to a dangerous media trial fuelled by problematic impulses of mob justice.
